I searched, and was gonna reply in a thread, but it was locked. My question is, what side of the quad do I need to stand on when I am hitting it the collar. I know lefty-loosey, righty-tighty, but I think I may be hitting it the wrong way. I have been standing on the left side of the quad (shifter side) and hitting the collar towards the exhaust side and it's still not coming loose. I'm NOT going to drive 45 minutes to my dealer for them to loosen a freakin collar. So am I doing it on the right side? and do I just need to hit it harder? Thanks.

Right if you hit the back side of the shock. Left if you hit the front.

Thanks for the QUICK reply KD. But I ended up gettin it. I took a socket so it kind of "cupped" around the edges of the collar and pounded on it. Loosened right up. Thanks for the help though man. And you better get friggin picls of that front end when it comes in, or you may die.

lol. real smooooth. lol. I'm still not certain on what a-arms I'm gonna get when I get a new front end in a couple of years. I'm gonna send in resumes to companies, and if their all low-ball offers, I'm gonna go with Fuel's. I don't know about shocks either. I guess the best deal there to. So let me know how these V-2 arms treat you. and the bike sounds like its gonna be a real champ to.

If they work as good as they look, you should be in GREAT shape. Another question, to turn the shock, do you still need to hit it, I have the quad lifted off the ground, and the spring is still hard to twist.

Its going to be hard. Just use both hands and twist the spring untill you get it to where you want to try it.

Alright, got it adjusted, what do you guys use to adjust the high speed compression? I used a 17mm socket (I believe so) and I think it worked. I'm just wandering what you all used.
