i was not aware.. how much? does that mean our previous transponders are no good?

I was not aware either-until a few days ago....
I think it was a late posting on there website because i didnt see it there a few weeks ago.
They are 150.00 each OR you can rent one for the wk end and pay a 150.00 deposit. Maria said they are alot nicer than the old ones and fit on nicely near bumper. We have live feed with these.

Old ones are no longer avail. to buy or use and there is not trade in disc.

If you rent it for the weekend and pay the $150 deposit do you get it all back? thus making renting it free?

No. There's a rental fee plus deposit .

wow. maybe MRAN will let me use my old worcs transponder.. i think it's the same style. thanks for the heads-up.. i didn't see it on the WORCS site as well.. alot of their links haven't been working for some reason too.

IMO.. this should have posted at least a month prior to allow riders time to prepare. I dont know all the specifics so I guess I shoudlnt assume lol ..

I do know that the old style is no longer avail. and that they were very low on the old ones last season so they had to do an upgrade. Live feed has been a discussion for quite awhile now so I would have assumed they knew there would be a trandsponder change earlier in the year??

A few peeps(including myself) had issues with our credit cards declining(probably from over use haha!) seems to be a weird glitch, but if this happens, just call Maria and have her manually sign you up. Mine worked fine after that. These are the final days for Pre registration, you cannot sign up the week of the race .
