I don't understand the wagon wheel craze. Especially here where it's likely with all the potholes, you will be replacing at least a tire if not a wheel on a bi weekly basis.

Price for a used Escalade isn't that far off from a top of the lien Yukon or Tahoe, a nice 2011 it in the twenty's. so are the top of the line Denali and the LTZ's but thehre is a bunch HP and features on the Escalade.

Ya, like my generation - lq4 6.0 in my truck, lq9 6.0 in the denalis and escalades, Different heads cams pistons and computers I believe.

I'm sure it's a very similar situation..

This is what I found, any if you guys running tuners?

"300HP. The LQ4 was always rated at 300HP, the LQ9 6.0 in the Escalades, Vmax, and SSs. IIRC the 6.0 LQ4 in some Denali's/H2s were rated at 325 though.

The only change in 05 for the LQ4 in your truck was the LQ4 got the LQ9 rods, but no power changes.

The lq9 had flat top pistons for about a point bump in compression and stronger rods, thats it. The rest of the power came from a different tune. A custom PCM tune can easily bump the LQ4 to LQ9 power levels."

The 6.2 in the Escalade is rated at just over 400hp the 6.2 in the Denali is rated at 380HP, guess which one I bought last night.
