I've been thorwing around the idea of going with a rad axle setup. They advertise the axle being around 8 pounds. I don't do mx so i'm not that worried about bending it. Just looking at losing rotating mass.

I bent my stock axle on my third ride on the LTR. I got a Lonestar to replace it and I've had it in for 8 months now with no issues!

I will probably go with the RPM just because I have tried the others. Thanks for all the replies though.

Well I have bent my stock axle which doesnt really suprise me. I have had 2 durablue axle's and a lonestar (on other bikes). I have bent all them although the durablue lasted longer than the lonestar, I am trying to decide which one to buy now. I thought about a stock one $50 or so used rather than buying aftermarket. I dont care to buy aftermarket but if you bend it and I probably will, it takes forever to get back from lonestar or durablue whether they straighten it or replace it. I know RPM is the best but really pricey are they really worth it. I bought one for my c-dale but never installed it so I dont know. any help here is appreciated. thanks[/b]

RPM is available EVERYWHERE for $349, that is even RPM's advertised price now, BUT motosport outlet has the RPM axles for $329 in their catalogs. Team and Laeger's are the same axle, Team produces them for Laeger's. I always liked and ran the Dura Blue X33 hollow axle, they are by far the most expensive, but I never bent or broke one. I am still on my stock axle, havn't bent it yet so I am not even sure if they offer them for the LTR.
