My brothers friend cracked his sub frame today on his 700r. They are made really crappy and it snapped before, but he just welded an aluminum plate on it. Didn't work

does any one make a more sturdy sub frame? or a sub frame made of a different material other then aluminum. ??

Sorry for asking on here... The raptor guys never got back to me.

That frame will either need to be replaced or completely stripped and taken to a shop who can reforge that alluminum. These will be the same probelm with Kawi's 450.

Mod list is too extensive = $13,446.00

YFZ's have the same problem. Theres a kid that runs here at the locals and he buckles/breaks his about 2 races. JBATVRacing makes re-inforcement bars for the YFZ's. Your buddy might be able to custom fab them to work......

Difference is, Rappy is solid alluminum frame has been forged. The YFZ, is the same "tubular" design as ours. All it takes it a replacement tube and a jig to keep the frame straight while you weld it.

KD are we on the same page? I think lemon was referring to the subframe of the 700R....And both run aluminum subframes, but not the same exact ones for each....
