So picked up a new Dirt Wheels Magazine today and saw that it proclaimed "All-New Banshee" at the top. Now always being a Banshee fan, it caught my eye and I purchased it and read the article. The article claims that the new Banshee will use a hybrid frame made of aluminum and steel, using geometry similar to the YFZs and 700Rs. Now what really caught my eye was that it would be a two cylinder 500cc four stroke made up of basically two YZ250F motors put together. With those things putting out about 35-40 stock, this new Banshee could have between 70-80 hp stock! But the article said it would pobably be detuned for liability reasons.
Now what I am really asking is, is this for real or is it another one of Dirt Wheels famous April Fool jokes?
On a side note the article also said half of an R1 engine was another option, all I could think was daaammmnn!

Figures, usually their April Fool jokes are a little more far fetched, but whatever....I guess some things are just to good to be true...
