if its a mk4 I hope you have money and good insurance ha ha ha.

unless you really like the body style or the power potential.... you might be better off buying a C5 vette.

is it stock, built, what year, how many miles, how many owners, is it on a rebuilt title?

These are all the kind of questions you need answers to when buying any kind of sports car.

I had an 89 Mk3 Single Turbo, fun car, definitely would own another one. Mine had a bad head gasket, that was about it.

Ya for being a car that hasn't been made in what 10 years it still does look really nice. They can be hard to come by well a decent one anyway. Checkout supraforum they have some nice ones for sale on there every now and then. I thought about one here a few years ago but I got an 02 camaro ss instead and got it built up some. Sadly now I think I'm going to be selling it so anybody interested in a black 02 6speed with some goodies?

they r def sweet and the hp numbers that can be reached with them are absolutely ridiculous...however, for the majority of cases if you want an awesome track/street/fun car with realistic power/performance, they arent that great of a value. i would never pay what the newer gen is commanding, when something is that older and used. to me its just not worth it....and good luck finding one that isnt hammered on. if you come across the right deal, then jump on it but there r other choices out there.

If you don't know much about them I wouldn't buy one..

Or start doing A LOT of reading on them and go from there

the last year's I think MK4 can handle ALOT of power if tuned and done right but your gonna pay a pretty penny for the car and insurance

I found some in AZ for close to 40k for a good stock one

unless u are in to that kind of scene, i wouldnt get one. they were nice for a car back in the mid 90 but not that cool now. if you want it to build some kind of race car and have some $$ go for it. my friend has a right hand drive one but they arent nothing special. they are fast when u put a lot of money in it, just like any other car.
