Well guys its not really total blashpemy because when i bought the LTR i sold my pops the banshee. Yeah he is a cool old man. 50 and rocking a banshee, i love when we go riding and he rolls up to the other old guys on on their 4x4's. Anyways he is having some work done on it, and we are getting the top end rebuilt, and we were thinking of going with 2 in to 1 carbs. Any suggestions on brands or prices, and where I could find one online?
I know you speed freaks rocked banshee's in previous lifes. Help me out.
Thanks.

I think trinity makes a kit but it's a complete waste of time IN MY OPINION. I've tried them on a couple of shee's even tried the two into one pipes and truth be told let that thing breathe. Aside from that though I've have seen some promise from going to 30mm carbs depending on work thats done, it seems to realy open the thing up.

I would go to bansheehq.com and do a search there, if you cant find what you are looking for ask some of the guys on there, a lot of the those guys are very knowledgeable and willing to help.
but there are TONS of topics about them on the general discusion board, use the search tool.

Dont waste your time or money. I have owned more then a few banshee's and the two i tried it on quickly showed me its a bunch of crap. Leave the carbs stock and twin.
Oh and my pops rides one too, but hes only 42. The impressive stuff is when his mom comes out on it. I know shes in her 60's, but she can hang with the best of em

Not to be different, but a friend of mine has the 2 into 1 setup(carb) and he is really fast. He has other stuff done too but nothing too crazy. He really likes it. Sorry, I don't know want kind it is.

bansheehq.com for sure. but i will tell you right now that if he wants to make power, a single carb sucks. you have to tune for the leaner cylinder, so one cylinder is ALWAYS running rich, and they tend to be VERY easy to run dry, especially when your're side hilling, and when the carb isn't perfectly level, it favors the cylinder its leaning towards. get some of the 30mm oko carbs off of ebay, they are bored out knock keihin 28pwk's and work awesome, i ran them on my dune ported shee.

+1. The 2 into 1 was more or less for people who wouldnt stop complaining that its "so hard" to tune two carbs. It's not hard, and like said above 2 carbs is MUCH better for the motor. If you want speed and power then you need to realize the 2 into 1 is a downgrade.

The 2into1 carb is good for lowend power and thats about it, like everyone has said above they really arent worth the risk or the benefits, if he wants more low end (torque) tell him to port it.
