Bingo. The banshee is a mid-top curve machine. Pin the gas or put it back in the garage. I raced two of them in enduro style races in NJ for a few years, let me tell you that got old. I ran a friends 400EX in two races and decided to stick with the shee because i liked that snap. I never liked a four stroke until i got on my buddies LTR. Two days later i had sold both banshee's and was bringing my new baby home. Moral of the story is, i love banshee's, but lowend isnt in its vocabulary.

i have a banshee and love the 2-in-1, I am over ruled here, but it made a world of difference. No more low end bog with the stock carbs. i ordered mine through trinity. My recommendation since the voting is mized would be to ride a banshee with it. I noticed the power seems alot smoother also.

Im still rocking a shee and your best bet is to leave the duals on there, you want more bottom end bump up the compression. you dont have to do alot to get alot, all I have done is port matched cases, cleaned up the ports on the jugs, milled the head pipes and tuned carbs, and it flies. it looks bone stock with pipes, the fenders are not cut and has an ice chest rack on it, I was smokin a guy with a yfz who claimed it was built by trinity with 470 kit. I beat him 6+ bikes easy every time... so leave those carbs on there and just get them dialed in. my 02

I heard the single conversion helps with the lowend but more than anything just makes the power more linear.......

I dont know if it can get any smoother, I takes alot of rpm to get those tiny little pistons to spin fast enough to make any hp...

You dont have more low end with a 2 in 1 setup, you just didnt have the twins setup the way they should have been. Your actualy getting less fuel with a 2in1 so you should loose power. The face that your not means incorrect tuning originally. As for lowend the best way to accomplish that is pipes designed more towards low and mid power.

well although it is not always true, sometimes more torque can be achieved with a smaller carb

Yes but the two in 1 is pumping less fuel then stock because its supplying two cylinders, so that rule cant really work in this example. Generally a smaller carb produces more power because its supplying either close to the same amount of fuel, or a more consistent and pressurized fuel source.

The 2into1 carb is good for lowend power and thats about it, like everyone has said above they really arent worth the risk or the benefits, if he wants more low end (torque) tell him to port it.

you can get more low AND top end power out of properly sized twin carbs then you can with a single carb, because you have one BIG carb, and the banshee motor doen't have a big enuf intake volume to produce velocity out of a 35mm carb unless the motor has been punched out considerably. and i think the single carb produces a harder hit than duals do....
