How do I adjsut the idle on a 2006? for some reason it idles too high. It did not do this originally but it sure does now........

Sounds like you have the idle advance lever down. On the left side of you bars there is a black lever make sure it all the way up.

I have the service manual (awsome) and it shows a lot of stuff. I will check if it has it in there. I am quite sure it does. I will get back to you Sat. night.

The lever is up but really it does not seem to have much effect whether that is up or down.

well if there is not any difference in idle with the lever up and/or down maybe the cable that controls the choke is minched somewhere in the on position.. check that. and there is one more thing that i can think of... my dealer replaced my choke intake flap thingy... lol technical words... they told me that i got something in my intake and it sat and corroded witch caused my choke to stop working. so if you can check those two things... hope i helped..

My choke stopped working too. I push the lever down, but nothing happens.
