timing
hey guys, im in the process of putting the ltr back together and i am a little confused on lining up the timing for the cams.
in the manual it shows the picture of how the cams line up and it shows the top mark lines up with the first pin of each link for the intake and exhaust cam. but when i do this, the the side marks on the cams dont line up perfectly with the head. in this pic, they are lined up perfect but the top mark on the cams arent lined up with the first pin of the link.
which way is the right way to line them up?

The top dot on each cam should be 15 pins apart with the side dots lined up with the top of the head on TDC.

u did block the intake cam dot at 12 o'clock in the pic, looks right as long as you are at tdc on the view port. i believe the manual says to rotate the engine 2x to verify that everything rotates smoothly after that if everything still lines up you are set.
