have a manual, he checked the fuel pump correct. Hes owned Honda for 25 years I'm sure he knows that hes checking it right. all connections were checked and show to be good.

CDI should be here by next Saturday. I can almost guarantee that's it.

Cleaning terminals did nothing, still same prognosis that if you move cdi box at all the engine dies.

keep us posted! you would be the first I know to have a bad CDI in an LTR.

Take a look at the main plug to the CDI box. Make sure that every terminal end is locked properly into the housing. You might have to remove the plastic retainer that goes into the end of the plug.

I have had a couple of LTR's over the years that have had a terminal end that wouldnt latch properly and the terminal would back out of the connection.

Mike,

We have told him many times to check the plug and all terminals for the connection. He is absolutely convinced its the CDI itself. It could be... First one on the HQ.

haha i have checked them but i will do again since your so convinced its not the cdi . The terminals seemed to be perfect. no wiggling of any sort. guess it could still be bad though, ima start with cdi and work my way back but like i said im almost posotive its the cdi...

3 MORE DAYS till we know.
