Fullbore Plastics

This is a discussion on Fullbore Plastics within the Body/Controls/Protection forums, part of the LTR450 Tech Discussion category; I was wondering if you can use the lights with the fullbore plastics? Does anyone have pictures of the plastics on your quad?...

Those have pretty much the same layout as the Maier's that I bought my son...and you can't use the stock headlight...have to go with some Trail Techs or something similar...

Yep, that's correct. Look around Ebay for the Trail Tech's. I picked up a pair of the Bar Mount style with the LTR450 Logo for $70.00 shipped. They are VERY bright, even though they are only Halogen and not HID. Good Luck!

Didn't you come up with a cool set up that mounted on the frame down by where the stocker headlight is?

Nope, not me. I did the HID Conversion to my stock headlight before, but never remounted anything in that area afterwards. I'm contemplating getting 2 more the the lights and mounting them on the shocks. Then put the 2 floods on the shocks, and 2 spots on the bars.

Not all Maier plastics have the front hood...some are normal cut like the stockers...it just depends what you order from them...
