Prm Swingarm Skid?

This is a discussion on Prm Swingarm Skid? within the Body/Controls/Protection forums, part of the LTR450 Tech Discussion category; I am interested in getting a .250 PRM-ATV swingarm skid. Are these any good? Does anybody have any pictures?...

ive had both versions, i don't like the one with the linkage cover, because the cover hangs down pretty far and it snags.... the no linkage cover one, the one im running now is really nice, and mounts up great. i give it a 8 out of 10, only other thing is, i wish i got the thicker one.

I've ran PRM on a lot of bikes and their product has always been top notch! I don't know how well it works on the LTR though.

i hit a 200# something going roughly 50 mph with my prm summit bumper (700 raptor) and the bumper was unscathed. the bumper mounts on the frame bent however heh.

i have alot of prm stuff: 700 raptor - summit bumper, desert grab bar, chassis skid, swingarm skid, side bars (banshee and raptor) and i'm going to get a prm swingarm skid for the ltr450. the stuff always fits and holds up extremely well.

PRM +1

I have the full prm set and I love them. They give you great ground clearance and are really strong. No complaints at all

I run all PRM skids, and slammed a rock during a GP race that folded the .25" linkage protector around my linkage, it was the hardest hit I have ever taken. If I did not have the skid with the linkage protection, I can almost guarantee it would have ripped off my swing arm and probably killed me. I had to have the skid pressed back into shape, but am still running it. The only draw back is it weighs about as much as a small car.
